Description
Quality Panic Room Doors
The HomeShelter™ PRD consists of two solid steel sheets which form the outer faces of the door, selected in grade and thickness to achieve the required ballistic rating. One of the sheets is oversized such that it conceals and protects the gap between door and frame. This means that in the (preferred) outward opening arrangement there are no visible openings that can be exploited with crowbars or prybars. The heavy duty hinges of proprietary design are so integrated into the PRD door and frame that they are fully concealed and present no visible opportunity for attack.
The space between the sheets may be filled with an acoustic or thermal insulating and fire resistant core, supplemented with matching edge seals.
An adjustable panel is provided at the bottom of the door to accommodate door openings of varying or uneven heights.
